Zinnia Gris Fonce
Also available in:
Zinia Dark Grey is a plain wallpaper in a deep gray. There is no motif and no repeat to line up, so the wall reads as a single block of color from one edge to the other. The shade sits at the darker end of the gray range, closer to charcoal than to silver, which gives it enough weight to hold a wall on its own without turning the room monochrome the way black would.
Color and use
A plain, unpatterned surface is the simplest way to change the color of a room, and it leaves everything else visible. Artwork, shelving, plants and furniture all read clearly against it, because nothing on the wall competes with them. Dark gray also handles light well: it looks softer in daylight and deeper under lamps, so the same wall changes character through the day without changing color. If you are choosing between shades, the rest of the dark gray range is worth comparing side by side. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Styles and rooms
The plain finish suits pared-back interiors: Scandinavian schemes built on pale wood and white textiles, minimalist rooms where the walls stay quiet, boho chic setups with rattan and layered fabrics, and Japandi interiors that mix low furniture with natural materials. It pairs easily with oak, linen, brass and black metal.
- Living rooms, including the wall behind a sofa
- Bedrooms, on all four walls or a single one
- Kitchens, hallways and home offices
In a TV wall setup the dark ground reduces the contrast around a screen, and in a bedroom it works well behind the headboard. A home office benefits from the same effect: a plain backdrop keeps the field of view calm while you work.
