Xyla Violet White
Xyla Violet White is a botanical wallpaper with animal motifs, drawn in purple on a white ground. The plant forms and creatures share the same palette, so the design reads as one continuous scene rather than separate elements scattered across the wall. The white background keeps the purple legible and stops the pattern from crowding the room.
Pattern and color
Leaves and stems make up the framework of the design, with animal shapes worked in among them. Purple carries the whole pattern, which means the wall holds a single clear color note instead of competing shades. On a white base the contrast is strong enough to see the detail from across a room, and soft enough that the paper still works on all four walls. Because the drawing is figurative, it rewards a closer look without demanding one. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Style and setting
The look is exotic and belongs with the wider tropical designs, where dense foliage and warm-climate wildlife set the tone. It pairs well with rattan and cane furniture, dark wood, plain linen and solid-colored upholstery. Cream, gray and deep green all sit comfortably next to the purple. Plants in the room echo the botanical drawing, and a plain rug keeps the floor quiet under a busy wall. If the animal side of the design is what appeals, the full range of animals patterns is worth browsing.
- Living room walls, whole room or a single wall
- Bedrooms, including behind the headboard
- An accent wall in an otherwise plain scheme
In a living room the pattern gives shelving and framed pictures a background with some depth to it. Used in a bedroom, the purple stays mild enough to live with day to day, and it suits a room where the furniture is kept simple.
