Vianney Green Orange
Vianney Green Orange is a botanical wallpaper that combines green foliage with orange across the design. The two shades work against each other directly: green carries most of the plant forms, while orange picks out smaller areas and keeps the pattern from reading as a single block of color. The result is a wall that has clear detail up close and a mixed green-orange tone from across the room.
Pattern and color
Botanical drawing gives the design its structure, with leaf and plant shapes repeating over the surface rather than sitting in strict rows. That kind of repeat is forgiving to hang across a full wall, since the eye follows the plant forms instead of a grid. The green reads as the base color and the orange as the accent, so the paper suits rooms where you want some warmth without a strong red. These are premium quality wallpapers. If the plant motif is what draws you, the forest & trees designs follow similar ground.
Style and rooms
The coloring and the drawn botanical detail place it in vintage schemes and farmhouse interiors. It sits well with wood furniture, painted cabinetry, rattan and plain woven textiles, and it gives solid-colored upholstery something to sit against. Keep other patterns in the room simple and let this one carry the detail.
- Living room walls, or a single accent wall
- Bedrooms, including behind the bed
- Kitchens and dining areas
- Hallways and home offices
In a living room the pattern holds up behind shelving and framed pictures. A hallway gets more out of it than a large open space, since the design is seen at close range. It also works in an office where one patterned wall faces the desk.
