Tessa Pink
Tessa Pink is a floral wallpaper in pink, with botanical shapes drawn across the surface. Leaves and blooms make up the whole of the design, so the pattern carries the wall on its own without a border or a geometric frame around it. The pink sets the overall tone of the room it goes into, and the repeat is what you notice first from a distance.
Pattern and color
The drawing is plant-based rather than abstract, which means the eye follows stems and foliage instead of a grid. Pink reads as warm on a wall, and it shifts a little depending on how much daylight a room gets, looking softer in the morning and deeper under lamplight in the evening. The exotic character comes from the plant forms themselves, which are closer to greenhouse and tropical species than to garden flowers. These are premium quality wallpapers. If the botanical direction is what appeals to you, the wider floral selection covers everything from fine sprigs to broad repeats, and the pink range groups the shades together so you can compare them side by side.
Rooms and pairings
A pattern this dense does well on one wall rather than four, so an accent wall is a practical way to use it. Plain upholstery, natural wood and rattan all sit comfortably against it, and curtains in a single color keep the flowers from competing with anything else. Brass or black metal fittings give the pink a clear edge.
- Living rooms, including the wall behind a sofa
- Bedrooms, on a full wall or just the headboard wall
- Hallways, where a bold repeat has little furniture to work around
- Home offices and study corners
In a bedroom the warm shade suits a scheme built on white bedding and painted furniture, while in an office it gives a small room something to look at behind the desk or on the shelf wall.
