Remi Turquoise
Also available in:
Rémi Turquoise is a plain wallpaper in a single turquoise shade, a blue-green that sits between the two without leaning hard either way. There is no motif and no repeat to line up, so the wall reads as one continuous block of color from corner to corner.
Surface and color
The finish is matte, which means the turquoise holds the same depth in daylight and under lamps instead of flaring into bright patches where the light hits. The surface is smooth, with no relief or grain, so the color stays even and the wall keeps a flat, painted look. A solid color like this gives furniture and artwork a clean backdrop, and it lets a patterned rug, curtains or a gallery of frames carry the detail in the room. If you are comparing shades, the full turquoise selection is worth browsing, along with the wider range of solid wallpapers. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Style and rooms
The tone places it in retro schemes, where it works with walnut and teak furniture, brass fittings and upholstery in mustard, cream or warm gray. It suits full walls as readily as a single painted-out surface.
- Living rooms, including as an accent wall
- Bedrooms, behind the headboard or across all four walls
- Hallways, dining rooms and home offices
In a living room the plain field works well behind a sofa or around a media unit, since nothing on the wall competes with shelving or screens. A hallway gains a defined color without visual clutter in a space you mostly pass through, and in a workspace the even surface keeps the background quiet behind a desk.
