Oskar Pink
Also available in:
Oskar Pink is a striped wallpaper in pink. The bands repeat at an even rhythm across the width, so the design keeps a steady, orderly look on the wall rather than drawing attention to any single line. The pink stays soft enough to work as a background color, which means the stripes give the wall structure without turning it into the loudest surface in the room.
Surface and finish
The finish is matte, so daylight and lamplight fall on it without glare and the pink holds the same tone from morning to evening. The surface is also textured, with a fine relief you can feel under your hand, and that slight structure helps hide minor unevenness in the wall beneath. Running the stripes vertically pulls the eye upward, which is worth knowing in rooms with low ceilings or in tight spaces where added height helps. More designs in this family are gathered in the striped collection, and the full range of pink wallpapers is worth comparing alongside it. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Style and rooms
The pattern suits farmhouse rooms, vintage schemes and boho chic interiors built on rattan, painted wood and layered textiles. It sits well with cream or natural linen, secondhand furniture and brass or black metal fittings, and it leaves plain curtains and patterned rugs enough room to read clearly.
- Living rooms, including behind a sofa
- Bedrooms, whole room or one wall
- Kitchens, dining rooms and hallways
- Home offices, bathrooms and nurseries
In a hallway the vertical lines make a narrow run feel taller and more deliberate. In a nursery the soft pink stays gentle enough to live with as the room is used for different things over the years.
