Noisette Dark Brown
Also available in:
Noisette Dark Brown is a floral wallpaper built on a dark brown ground, with blooms and foliage drawn in white, cream and beige alongside red, green and black accents. The drawing is loose and slightly abstract, so the flowers read as shapes and silhouettes rather than botanical studies, and the dark base keeps the lighter tones clearly separated from one another.
Pattern and finish
The surface is smooth, with no relief to the touch, and the matte look means the wall gives back no shine under lamps or daylight. That matters with a dark ground, since gloss would show every reflection and break up the colour. Instead the brown stays even across the full width of the wall, and the pale petals hold their contrast at a distance as well as up close. The mix of stems, leaves and open flowers puts it among the wider botanical designs, and the denser, layered foliage passages will appeal to anyone browsing jungle patterns. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Style and rooms
The palette and the drawing style sit in vintage and retro schemes, and the pattern has enough density to carry a maximalist room where several patterns are already in play. Tropical arrangements work too. Pair it with wood furniture, brass or dark metal fittings, and upholstery in plain cream, rust or deep green. Against white trim and doors, the brown ground reads as a defined block of colour.
- Living rooms, including behind a sofa
- Bedrooms and nurseries
- Kitchens, dining rooms and hallways
- Home offices and bathrooms
In a dining room the dark ground suits evening lighting and candlelight, while in a home office it gives a plain desk and shelving something to stand against. Used on one wall only, it frames a bed or a fireplace without closing in the rest of the room.
