Livy Cream Gold
Also available in:
Livy Creme D'or is a marble-patterned wallpaper in cream with metallic detailing. The veining runs across the surface in irregular lines, the way it does in cut stone, so no two sections of the wall repeat in an obvious way. The cream ground keeps the whole design light, while the metallic lines pick up whatever light falls on them and shift in brightness as you move past the wall.
Pattern and color
Stone patterns work differently from geometric or floral ones: there is no grid to line your furniture up against, and the eye reads the wall as one continuous surface rather than a sequence of motifs. That makes this design forgiving on long walls and in corners. The cream base sits comfortably next to white trim, oak, walnut and painted cabinetry, and the metallic veins tie in with brass or gold-toned hardware, mirror frames and light fittings. If you are comparing options, the full marble selection shows how much the veining can vary, and the narrower gold marble group covers designs built on the same warm contrast. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Rooms and pairings
The pale ground and restrained pattern suit both open rooms and small ones. In a living room it holds up behind a sofa or around a fireplace without competing with artwork. In a hallway, where there is little furniture and a lot of wall, the veining gives the surface something to look at. It also works in a office where a plain wall would read as flat on video calls.
- Living rooms, including a single accent wall
- Bedrooms and nurseries
- Kitchens and dining rooms
- Hallways, bathrooms and home offices
Pair it with plain textiles and let the veining carry the pattern, or keep furniture low and simple so the wall reads clearly from across the room.
