Lila Cream Multicolor
Also available in:
Lila Creme Colorful is a floral wallpaper with a dense mix of blossoms and foliage spread across a creamy white and beige ground. Red, pink and blue flowers sit among grey and green-toned leaves, so the pattern reads as multicolored without any single shade taking over. The lighter background keeps the design from closing in on a room, even though the motifs cover most of the surface.
Pattern and surface
The finish is matte, which means no reflections across the wall and colors that hold steady in daylight and under lamps alike. The surface is smooth, so the printed detail in the petals and stems stays crisp and the paper sits flat against the wall. Because the motifs repeat closely, seams are easy to lose in the pattern. If this kind of drawing appeals to you, the wider range of floral designs is worth browsing, as is the selection of botanical patterns built on leaves and stems. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Style and rooms
The drawing style is vintage in character and suits maximalist schemes where pattern is used deliberately rather than sparingly. It goes well with dark wood, painted furniture, brass fittings and plain textiles in cream, red or blue picked out of the print. Paired with plain walls on the other three sides, it works equally well as the only pattern in a room.
- Living rooms, including behind a sofa
- Bedrooms and nurseries
- Kitchens, dining rooms and hallways
- Home offices and bathrooms
In a dining room the full-coverage pattern gives the walls weight behind a table and chairs. Used on a single accent wall, it carries a room on its own without needing much else hung on it.
