Kalina Colore
Kalina Colore is a multicolored wallpaper built on a dense floral and botanical drawing, with animals worked in among the leaves and blooms. The pattern fills the surface rather than sitting in isolated sprigs, so the colors read together across the wall instead of as separate motifs. The drawing style is clearly retro, closer to a printed textile than to a photographic image.
Pattern and color
Several shades appear side by side, which makes this a design that sets the color scheme of a room rather than following one already in place. Because the motifs repeat at a small enough scale, the wall keeps an even overall tone when seen from across the room, while the plants and animals become legible up close. It belongs with the broader range of floral designs, and the creature details connect it to the animals selection. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Style and rooms
The busy, layered drawing puts it firmly in maximalism, where pattern is meant to carry the room. It holds up next to dark wood, brass fittings and mid-century shapes, and it pairs well with plain upholstery and single-color curtains that let the pattern stay the focus. Used on one wall only, it works as an accent wall against otherwise painted surfaces.
- Living room walls, whole room or a single wall
- Bedrooms, including behind the bed
- Hallways, where there is little furniture to compete
- Home offices and study corners
In a bedroom the multicolored ground gives you a range of shades to pick bedding and lampshades from. In a hallway, where walls are seen briefly and at close range, the small-scale repeat and detailed motifs give the eye something to take in.
