Georg Beige Cream
Georg Creme Beige is a plain wallpaper in cream and beige with a fabric-like surface. There is no motif to align or repeat across the wall, so the colour reads as one continuous field, warmed slightly by the beige tone running through the cream.
Surface and finish
The look is matte, so the wall holds the same shade from morning to evening instead of picking up bright spots near windows or lamps. A textured surface gives the paper a fine woven structure, close to the weave of a linen cloth, which is what keeps a single-colour wall from looking flat. That same relief helps mask small dents and uneven patches in the plaster behind it. If you want more in this vein, the solid-colour designs cover the same ground in other shades. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Style and rooms
Cream and beige suit Japandi schemes, pared-back minimalist rooms and boho chic interiors built on rattan, cotton and plants. As a background colour it works with dark wood as readily as with pale oak, and it leaves art, shelving and textiles to carry the contrast.
- Living rooms, including the wall behind a sofa or a TV unit
- Bedrooms and nurseries
- Kitchens, dining rooms and hallways
- Home offices, bathrooms, kids' and teens' rooms
In a darker hallway the light shade makes the space read as more open, and in a kids' room the neutral colour stays usable as the furniture and the child change.
