Emeric Grey Silver
Also available in:
Emeric Grey Silver is a plain wallpaper in a gray shade with a silver cast. There is no repeating motif to align or plan around, so the color carries the wall on its own and reads as one even surface from corner to corner. Gray of this weight sits between warm and cool, which means it holds up next to white woodwork as well as next to darker wood tones.
Color and effect
Because the design is uncolored by pattern, the wall behaves more like a painted surface than a printed one, and anything you hang on it stays the focus. Framed prints, shelving, mirrors and pendant lights all keep their outlines against it. The silver gray tone shifts slightly with the light in a room, looking cooler in daylight and softer under lamps in the evening, without ever changing character. Used over all four walls it gives a room a single quiet background; used on one wall it separates that section from the rest without a hard color break. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Style and rooms
The shade fits Scandinavian schemes built on pale floors and simple furniture, and it works just as well in boho chic rooms, where it keeps rattan, woven textiles and plants from competing with the walls. Pair it with linen, leather or brushed metal; all three read clearly against gray.
- Living rooms, including the wall behind a sofa
- Bedrooms, whole room or one wall
- Hallways and entrance areas
- Home offices and dining rooms
In a media wall setting the plain gray reduces glare and visual clutter around a screen. In an office it keeps the background neutral for video calls, and in a dining room it lets a table and light fitting set the tone.
