Eglantine Multicolor
Also available in:
Églantine Colorful is a floral wallpaper with botanical detailing on a pale ground of white, cream and beige. Blooms and foliage are drawn in orange, red, purple and blue, so the pattern carries several strong shades at once while the light background keeps them separated. The result is busy in detail but even overall, which makes it easier to use across a full wall than a design with one dominant color block.
Surface and finish
The finish is glossy, so the printed areas pick up light and the colors look brighter where daylight or a lamp falls directly on them. That shine also gives depth to the darker reds and blues against the cream. The surface is textured, with a raised structure you can feel under your hand, and that fine relief helps disguise minor unevenness in the wall below. These are premium quality wallpapers. If the flower work is what draws you, the wider floral selection is worth browsing, and the multicolor range collects other designs built on several shades at once.
Style and rooms
The drawing style suits farmhouse rooms, exotic schemes and vintage interiors furnished with older wood, painted cabinets or rattan. Because the pattern already supplies the color, plain upholstery, simple curtains and unpatterned rugs work best alongside it.
- Living rooms, including a single accent wall
- Bedrooms and nurseries
- Kitchens and dining rooms
- Hallways and home offices
In a living room the pale ground keeps the wall from closing in, even with the full range of colors in the print. A hallway gives the pattern a compact surface where the repeat reads clearly, and in a dining room it gives a plain table and chairs something to sit against.
