Caprice Multicolor
Caprice Colore is a floral wallpaper in beige, pink and green. The botanical motifs sit on a light beige ground, with pink blooms and green foliage spaced apart rather than packed together, so the pattern keeps a good amount of open background visible. That spacing is what gives the design its minimalist character: the drawing is detailed, but there is enough plain ground between the elements to keep a full wall from looking crowded.
Colors and pattern
Beige carries the whole surface and keeps the two accent colors in check. The pink reads as soft rather than bright, and the green stays on the muted side, so the three tones work as a set instead of competing. Because the base is neutral, the paper sits easily next to white trim, natural wood and painted furniture. If you are comparing options, the wider floral selection shows how much the density of a botanical print changes the effect, and this one falls at the quieter end. It also fits with schemes built on pink textiles, since the blooms pick up that color without setting the tone for the room. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Where it works
The restrained pattern suits rooms where you want interest on the walls but not a dominant motif.
- Living room walls, including behind a sofa
- Bedrooms, on all four walls or a single one
- Kitchens and dining areas
- Hallways and home offices
In a bedroom the beige ground keeps the light soft and the flowers stay legible at close range. Used in a hallway, the pale base helps a narrow run of wall feel less closed in, and the pattern gives the eye something to follow between doors. A home office is another sensible spot, since the design holds up behind a desk and shelving without pulling attention during the day.
