Bjarne Beige Grey
Also available in:
Bjarne Beige Grey is a geometric wallpaper drawn in an abstract, graphic style. The shapes sit on a cream and beige ground, with grey and brown filling out the composition, so the design stays within a warm neutral range instead of relying on contrast for effect. The forms are clear enough to read from across the room, but the close tonal spacing keeps the overall wall calm.
Pattern and surface
The finish is matte, which means no glare from lamps or window light and even color across a full wall. The surface is textured, giving the print a shallow relief that catches light differently as you move past it and helps mask minor unevenness in the plaster. Neutral coloring makes this an easier geometric to live with than a high-contrast one, since the pattern gives the wall structure without fixing the room to a single accent shade. More designs in this family are grouped under geometric patterns, and the wider beige selection is worth comparing if you are matching an existing scheme. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Style and rooms
The mix of abstract shapes and muted earth tones places it between country style and retro interiors. It sits well with wood furniture, rattan, wool textiles and brass or matte black fittings, and it holds its own next to plain painted walls in cream or grey.
- Living rooms, including behind a sofa
- Bedrooms, on all four walls or one wall only
- Hallways and entryways
- Home offices and dining rooms
In a living room the pattern works as a backdrop for shelving and framed prints rather than competing with them. A hallway benefits from the repeated shapes, which give a long, narrow space something to follow, and in an office the neutral palette keeps the wall from pulling focus during the working day.
