Amelie Black Multicolor
Also available in:
Amélie Black Colorful is a floral wallpaper set on a black ground, with blooms and foliage drawn in orange, red, pink, green and gray. The dark base pushes the warm shades forward, so the flowers read clearly from across a room while the black keeps the overall effect grounded. Loose, slightly abstract shapes give the botanical forms a hand-drawn quality rather than a precise botanical-plate look.
Pattern and finish
The surface is smooth and the look is matte, with no sheen to bounce light back at you. That matters on a dark ground: gloss would show every lamp and window as a bright spot, while the flat finish holds the black even and lets the colors stay consistent from morning to evening. The mix of flower motifs and leafy shapes covers the wall densely enough to work as the main event in a room. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Style and rooms
The color range and dark base suit maximalist schemes, vintage and retro interiors, country rooms and tropical decorating. It holds up against dark wood, rattan, brass fittings and velvet upholstery, and it pairs well with plain walls in a single deep or neutral shade. Keep curtains and rugs simple so the pattern is the only thing doing the talking.
- Accent wall or full walls in a living room
- Bedrooms, including behind the headboard
- Dining rooms, kitchens and hallways
- Home offices, bathrooms and kids' rooms
In a dining room the dark ground works in the evening under low light, and in a home office a single papered wall gives the desk a defined backdrop without spreading the pattern through the whole space.
