Amaranthe Multicolor
Amaranthe Colorful is an abstract wallpaper in a multicolor palette. The shapes are free-form rather than geometric, so no single motif repeats in an obvious grid, and the range of shades keeps the wall active from any distance. Seen close up you read the individual forms and color breaks; from across a room the design settles into an overall mix.
Pattern and color
Because the design carries several colors at once, it gives you a wide choice of tones to pick up elsewhere in the room, in cushions, rugs, artwork or painted joinery. It is a busy pattern by nature, so it does most of its work on its own: plain walls on the remaining sides and simple furniture shapes let the design stay legible. The retro character comes through in the drawing of the forms and the way the colors are combined, which places it closer to mid-century graphic work than to current minimal patterns. These are premium quality wallpapers. If this direction suits you, the full abstract selection is worth browsing, and so is the wider group of multicolor designs.
Where it works
The design suits rooms where a strong pattern has space to be seen and is not competing with heavy furnishings. It pairs well with maximalism schemes that already mix colors and periods, and it also holds up in simpler interiors used as a single patterned surface.
- Living room walls, including a single feature wall
- Kitchens and dining corners
- Entryways and hallways
- Home offices and work corners
In a living room it gives a focal surface behind seating or shelving, while in a hallway the shifting colors give a short, often windowless space something to look at. In an office it sits behind the desk rather than in the line of sight while you work.
