Aiden Greige
Also available in:
Aiden Greige is an abstract wallpaper in beige and gray. The two shades work together across the surface rather than in separate blocks, so the design reads as one soft, mid-toned field with no strong focal point. There is no repeating motif to line up visually, which makes the pattern easy to live with on a large wall or across several walls in the same room.
Pattern and color
Because the beige carries warmth and the gray cools it back down, the wallpaper sits between the two and shifts slightly depending on the light in the room. That neutrality is the practical point: it gives you a patterned wall without committing the room to a color scheme. Furniture in oak, walnut, black metal or white lacquer all read clearly against it, and it leaves textiles free to do the work, so a deep green sofa or a patterned rug stays the thing you notice first. If you are matching an existing scheme, it is worth comparing it with the rest of the beige designs and with the gray selection. These are premium quality wallpapers.
Where it works
The restrained pattern suits rooms that are used all day as well as rooms meant for rest. In a office it gives the walls some depth without pulling attention from a desk or screen, and in a bedroom or nursery the muted tones keep the room quiet as its furniture changes over the years.
- Living rooms and dining rooms, all walls or a single feature wall
- Bedrooms and nurseries
- Kitchens and bathrooms
- Work spaces and transitional areas
It is also a sensible choice for a hallway, where an abstract design in neutral shades holds up better than a busy motif seen at close range. In a narrow hallway the lack of a clear directional repeat keeps the walls from feeling tighter than they are.
