The Chantemur Heritage

Welcome to our world of wall enchantment, where creativity flourishes without bounds and where every spark of imagination gives birth to spellbinding realms in every corner.

Foundations and early inspirations

The story took flight in the beautiful city of Lyon, where the very first brushstroke of our journey traced the contours of interior elegance. At its inception, we were identified under the name "Hall du papier peint", a refuge for mural artistic expressions. As time evolved, our essence blossomed and in 1982, we chose the name "Chantemur", a harmonious melody symbolizing a rich symphony of decor.

Expanding our horizons

In 1993, our narrative took a captivating turn when we inherited the "Vilar" brand. This fusion not only brought the opulence of interior textiles to our repertoire, but also infused even more vibrant notes of creativity into our growing canvas.

Innovation at the heart of our project

During the 1990s, we played a pioneering role in the field of innovation by introducing to France the magic of non-woven wallpapers. This harmonious union between technology and art marked a decisive milestone, thus shaping the future of wall design.

Chantemur goes online!

During the digital explosion in 2008, we dove into the online world, infusing our passion into the pixels of the virtual realm.

Walls adorned with creativity

From elaborate patterns, laden with narratives, to stunning murals that awaken emotions, we have adorned walls with whispers of elegance and touches of grandeur. Our reputation resonated throughout the industry, being the symbol of exceptionally high-quality wallpapers, breathtaking photorealistic artworks, vibrant hues, enchanting wall stickers and curtains dancing in the breeze like visual poetry.
